Built by the people
you talk to.
Lusterworks is a software studio building custom AI systems for established companies.
The studio comes out of a decade of custom web and software work for established businesses. The AI is new. Building software a company depends on every day is not.
One team carries a project from start to finish. The people who sit with your staff in discovery are the people who design the system, build it, and answer when something needs to change. There is no account manager in the middle and no junior bench behind them.
We also use what we build. Cosmo, the agent in the corner of this page, runs discovery on our projects, and new models and patterns are tested on our own products before they go near your business.
Any industry,
one kind of problem.
We don't specialise in a sector. What the established companies we suit have in common is how their work moves.
Four phases,
and what each asks of you.
Every phase says what we do, what it needs from your team, and what you are holding when it ends.
- Phase 01Discover
Understand your business, the tools you already use, and what's actually slowing you down.
- What we do
- Sit with the people doing the work and watch how it actually happens, including the workarounds nobody wrote down. If a partner has already mapped your process, we start from their map instead of redoing it.
- What you do
- Point us at the right people and let us watch them work. No prep, no deck, no tidying up first.
- What you end up with
- A written map of where the time goes and what the work runs on, in your language rather than ours.
- Phase 02Design
Map the system: what gets built, what gets automated, what stays as it is.
- What we do
- Decide what gets built, what gets automated, and what is genuinely better left alone.
- What you do
- Tell us which parts you would not want touched, and where a judgment call has to stay with a person.
- What you end up with
- A plan naming each piece, what it connects to, and the order it gets built in.
- Phase 03Build
Built in your environment, on your real work, a piece at a time.
- What we do
- Build in your environment against your real data, whatever shape it's in, shipping pieces you can use as they land.
- What you do
- Use the early pieces on real work and tell us where they get it wrong.
- What you end up with
- Working software your team is already using, not a demo waiting on sign-off.
- OngoingOperate
Run it, watch it, and evolve it as your business changes.
- What we do
- Watch it run, fix what breaks, and extend it as the business changes.
- What you do
- Tell us what changed. Systems drift when the work moves and nobody mentions it.
- What you end up with
- A system that keeps matching how you work, licensed to your team and running alongside the tools you already keep.
The way in is a private demo: we show you the software running, and you tell us where your team's time goes. Discovery comes next, with Cosmo running the conversations with your people so nobody explains the same thing twice.
See how Cosmo runs discoveryWhat's next, tested first.
Where new models and patterns get tested on our own products before they go near your business. What holds up here goes into the systems we build for you.
What we hold
ourselves to.
Short, and written so you can hold us to them.
- We don't pass you around. One team stays accountable, from first call to production.
- We don't hand you a plan and leave. If we recommend it, we build it.
- We don't walk away after launch.Shipping is when the work starts.
- We don't gate your data. It's yours, exportable on demand.
See it running, then decide.
Ask for a private demo, or tell us what is eating your team's time. Either way, a person from the studio replies.
